SHIPPING & RETURNS FOR ONLINE ORDERS
All orders ship from Toronto, Ontario. With the exception of Mile1 Local Delivery orders, all orders ship through Canada Post.
We'll do our best to ship your order out on the first business day that we receive it! Note that Canada Post does not ship on weekends.
Holidays 2023 Shipping Alerts: Please note that we will not be shipping Canada Post orders during the week of December 25-29. Regular shipping for these orders will resume on January 2. You can still place Mile1 and online pickup orders during this time. Note that Mile1 does not deliver on Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, or New Year's Day.
Fulfillment Issues: If we notify you via the email address or phone number provided about a problem with fulfilling your order and we don't hear back from you within 5 business days, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund. So stay in touch!
Misdelivered/Lost/Misaddressed Orders: We are not responsible for items misdelivered or lost by Canada Post or Mile1, and you should contact them about delivery issues directly. We will not refund shipping on orders with incorrect addresses, so please check your shipping address when you receive your confirmation!

Receive Free Shipping within Canada when you spend:
- Toronto (L & M Postal Codes): $100.00 before applicable taxes
- Wider Ontario and Quebec: $100.00 before applicable taxes
- Western & Eastern Canada: $100.00 before applicable taxes
- Northern Canada: $150.00 before applicable taxes
You'll get an email notification when your order ships, with a Canada Post tracking number and link.
LETTERMAIL SHIPPING OPTION FOR GREETING CARDS (UNTRACKED): CANADA
For Canadian destinations, you will have the option to ship up to 10 greeting cards untracked, using Lettermail, for the rate of $3. The offer applies to orders that contain ONLY greeting cards, and EXCLUDES pop-up cards. Note that during the current pandemic, Lettermail deliveries may experience delays.
If your greeting card order meets the Free Shipping level for your destination, you will be eligible for regular (tracked) Free Shipping. The Lettermail option is clearly labeled as such, so you don't get any surprises.
This option is also available for single small stickers (including orders that contain ONLY stickers and greeting cards).
LOCAL DELIVERY: TORONTO CORE
Shipping within core Toronto and want more control over your delivery? For only $13 (less than standard shipping), you can set your delivery time with Mile1—evenings and weekends included. And if you're not in a hurry, you can choose to reduce your carbon footprint by grouping your delivery with others that are already scheduled.
If your shipping destination is within their delivery zone, it will appear as an option at checkout. Once your order is ready for delivery, Mile1 will send you an email message so that you can schedule your time, so keep your eye out (and check your spam folder!). Or include your phone number to get a text.
Orders of $100 or more (before applicable taxes) are eligible for Free Shipping with Mile1.
Mile1 does not deliver on Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, or New Year's Day.

Shipping rates for the contiguous US:
- Flat rate: $26.00 CAD before applicable taxes
- FREE shipping when you spend: $150.00 CAD before applicable taxes
Unfortunately, we can't ship food items to the US at this time. We're working on it!
We'll happily give you a refund for most non-sale items that are unused and in their original packaging if we receive it back to us within 30 days from the ship date. Unfortunately, as an independent business we're not currently able to cover the cost of return shipping.
However, if you're able to return it in person to our Toronto retail store, go ahead! We'll refund it to your original method of payment via Shopify once we receive it.
- Face masks (PPE)
Give us a heads-up at email@example.com before you make a return, so we won't be too confused when we receive it. We want to be able to refund you as soon as we get it!
If something arrives defective or broken, let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll issue a refund or send you a new one at our expense.

FREE SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Receiving free shipping is contingent upon making a minimum purchase. Should you change your mind about a purchase and want to return an item on an order that received free shipping, if the return drops the order below the free shipping threshold, the applicable flat shipping rate + HST will be deducted from the refund.
Alternatively, we can issue store credit for the full amount of the returned item(s) in the form of a digital gift card.
You can contact us to cancel orders that ship through Canada Post up until your order information has been received by them. We will leave a 30-minute cancellation window after receiving your order before we fulfill it.
Mile1 Local Delivery orders can be cancelled up until your order is picked up by the delivery service.
Shopify may take up to 10 business days to credit the refund back to you.
